Description

Our client is transitioning towards OneBank, operating over five countries but acting as one, creating more international collaboration and positions.

This also means increasing payroll complexities for an internationalizing co-worker base. To further improve on our cross-border working and international payroll process, they are already supported by EY, but are in addition looking for an experienced professional who can help them coordinate this process of international remuneration, and tax process, across the countries. Acting as an SPOC and also ensuring good and solid reporting on the growing group positions working abroad.

How you will make a difference?

The essence of the role is to oversee and manage the operational process across countries on the different payroll processes and systems. You ensure a solid and properly governed international payrolling process.

As said before, you will work closely with EY, where our payroll administrative process is outsourced to. But your role will manage this process from the bank, acting as an SPOC and reporting over this process.

As a part of your daily tasks:

  • You will advise HR and management on the cross-border working options;
  • You act as a single point of contact and advise cross-border co-workers on terms & conditions of cross-border/ international working;
  • I.e contractual matters, fiscal and legal consequences and align with Tax and Legal;
  • Act as a point of contact to a tax advisor for outsourced payrolls (France, Luxemburg, Denmark, Swiss including the 13th payroll run in the Netherlands for co-workers from the bank's branches) and yearly tax returns;
  • You will internationally process (and coordinate) the split payroll process in NL for cross-border co-workers and align with HR departments in other countries;
  • You will manage business demand, translate wishes into functional requirements, and align the realization with internal or external suppliers;
  • You coordinate requests for work permits with external parties.

What you will bring:

Your unique potential and your values matter to the team. The team are looking for people who are self-aware and who think in a holistic way, always conscious about their impact on society, the environment, and the economy.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be able to influence and persuade local and groupwide stakeholders within HR and outside HR (management);
  • Maintain integrity and honesty when handling personal data, given its sensitive nature;
  • Set focus and prioritize your work;
  • Connect closely with HR colleagues across the bank's group in all 5 countries.

Furthermore, it is expected that you:

  • Have a proven track record in Dutch and (some) international payrolling;
  • Can drill down in financial load administration quickly and thoroughly;
  • Have an analytical mind, are well organized and hands-on
  • Are a good communicator, including a proficient level in English in both speaking and writing;
  • Have an education in Loan administration (in Dutch PDL);
  • Preferably bring previous experience as an international payroll specialist (3-4 yrs), preferably within an international HR context

Your future colleagues

You will be reporting directly to the Head of HR Service Delivery and cooperate closely with the salary administrations in all countries. Also, you will find close collaboration with EY as the external provider, and with the HR Data team for the EDW and reporting tooling.
